Greatness!
When I see a film like this my mind goes crazy trying to figure out how they did it. Was it actual stop-mo with a bit of digital polish? A pure AfterEffects (or something similar) job? Maya? Or something else again?
I love that, in this day and age, it's pretty much impossible to tell exactly HOW an animation was made a lot of the time!
I wonder if Dr. Ian can diagnose it?
It looks like stop motion with hand drawn elements to me.
I agree Terry. It feels like we're dabbling with magic or have the power of gods.
My first guess would be that its all photographed elements animated in After FX, which is kind of boring isn't it. It would be heaps better if the was some stop mo involved. But there is no way of knowing for sure.
It was animated in Flash.
