Oscar Nominations for 2008
The cool Ticklebooth blog has a post up linking to this years Oscar nominations for the best short animated film.
This year only one of the five nominations is 3D.
- Is the novelty starting to wear off?
- Is the Academy made up of old fogies who are out of touch?
- Are they leading the way and will industry follow?
- Should the Oscars stay in step with industry or is it a separate "art" thing?
- Am I asking intentionally provocative questions? :)
