Because too much web geekery is never enough... I have just updated the QLD Animators news page, and you should check it out.
Among other things, you'll find a guide to a amazing free 3D animation package called Blender. Very cool, if yer into that sort of thing. (I'm not... I'm waaaay too cool for 3D.)

go on Terry, you'd love to have a go! If anyone is interested, a film made entirely using free software including 'Blender' has had alot of media coverage. It's called 'Elephant's Dreams':
