Annie Award Winners 2008
Friend of the ARC Kristi from Krome sent me a link to this page of results from this years Annie Award, they are like the Oscars but just for animation.
Looks like Ratatouille cleaned up most of the major film award, Surfs up grabbed a few for FX, those waves were pretty impressive.

I dont think ratatoot winning everything suprised anyone... athough It would have came 3rd if I was the judge... after simpsons and bee movie. I was suprised that your friend the rat won though... cause it was such a mix-mash of everything which I like but I didnt think it would win cause of that.

Robot Chicken got nominated? What? Strange... it actually won for Character animation? Thats so wierd. But not as wierd as my gym partner is a monkey getting a nomination for writting... that show could be an example of bad writting...
Anyone know anything about Persepolis, nominated for best feature? The design is so very, very simple that it's hard to imagine it as a whole feature film. I haven't actually seen any animation from it, just stills, but the characters don't seem to have enough structure for subtle animation.
