AnimationMentor eCritique

Did you know much about where the bone in your nose ends and the plasticity begins? How does that springy bit of your nose move when you accentuate your vowels.

What lines do you move around the eyes to change a look from a "puppy dog look" to a granny in control and oozing power.

There are so many gems in this eCritique by animator Mark Behm of PDI/Dreamworks at the 11SecondClub web site. You'll learn lots.

Lauren Andersson, the Canadian animator, did a fine job because Mark Behm had to get pretty detailed to critique her work.

How good is an experienced animator's eye? He looks at the frame then acts out what he wants. But without looking he draws the facial expression (he's just subconsciously pulled in the video) over the frame with his tablet & pen.
