Victor Navone Qritiques!
WOW!!!! I mean WOW!!!!. This has to be one of the coolest things I've seen online. The prize in last months 11 second club was to have your work critiqued by Victor Navone, similarly to what would happen if you were an Animation Mentor student. The critique is available online so we can all see how a Pixar animator thinks about his work and articulated those thoughts. Did I say WOW enough yet!

That was great to watch. Stuff like separating actions so they don't compete. Making gestures more meaningful. And animating the thought before action (he calls it the anticipation). It's all really helpful.
I was hoping you would find this. :) These eCritiques were one of the best things about doing AM, and Victor really, really knows his stuff. It's really cool that a critique like that is the prize for the 11sec contest now. The "thought anticipation" thing is a really great point. Lots of things to remember in that video. :)
