Leau De Rose

I think a link to Arthur De Pins web site was one of the first things ever featured on this blog, one of his films popped up on Daily Motion recently and is worth posting again. Hard to believe how much character he gets into his Flash animation. Just goes to show how an understanding of traditional character animation principles comes in handy no matter what kind of animation your making.

The best thing about that animation is that you don't have to understand French to understand the story.

The intonation of the voices underscore the mood (like a film score).

The acting tells me what's going on...

Be careful on the ferris wheel.

Whio was Ferris? Didn't he play guitar in INXS?

The film could be watched without sound and the story would still be clear.
