Paprika

A while back I posted a link to the trailer for an interesting film on its way called Paprika. I have found some new clips on Youtube, including the opening sequence. Sure looks pretty.

Gota love the way the Japanese seem to effortlessly integrate fantasy and myth with the modern world, it all blends together seamlessly. There have been a string of western fantasy films of late that involve escaping to or being trapped in another world of fantasy, but in anime it can just erupt around your everyday life at any second and there's nothing you can do about it. . . . . COOL!

One thing I didn't notice when I first saw the trailer was the references to the old Monkey TV show.... that's cool too.
