Once more with Meaning!

In the storyboarding class that the first years have with me on Mondays they're learning how every shot in a story is an opportunity for meaning. This little preview I found on Cold Hard Flash is a great example. There character never says a word, but we know all about how he feels. Also note the restrained use of colour and a consistent colour harmony, it gives things such a slick professional feel.
