Simple but Effective.

Today the first year students were thrown head first into the world of drawing for animation, and a central theme was the use of simple characters and the idea that you don't need detail in order to engage the audience with emotions and actions. Aaaaand it just so happens that I have a nice little film that demonstrates the point. Great "punchy" timing and use of Line of Action.

There are at least 21 definitions for simple; that's not simple. Quite a few of them apply to this animation. I like it.
