Making Me Mad!
Well there was already lots of talk on the net about "what is an animated film" in the lead up to the Oscars with 2 of the three nominated films being motion capture instead of key frame animation. Now that Happy feet has won, the die hard key framers have really come out punching.

Bugger the haters. Happy Feet was a great film. Motion capture is just a tool, like a Wacom tablet or a scanner.
The question really should be:
Why didn't Ice Age 2 get nominated?
hmm, unsure how i feel bout this one. haven't seen Happy Feet as yet.
