Moving to Music

Here is some more characters moving to music. Note how in the first scene the hipo starts to bob up and down in time before the beat kicks in, this implies that the character knows the music well and is confident. See how the little guy hits his poses on the beats. In the second close up of the hipo there is a great example of layering, where its whole body is bobbing up and down with the beat, but there is a broad sweeping gesture with the twiddling finders that is timed with the dialog.
